Follow these simple steps;
- Go to Unbilled Activity tab in the Matter.
- Select the activity which you want to include in the Bill. Specifically select the Unbilled status activity.
- Click Create Bill button.
- It will bring you to Bill page.

You need to do the following to make sure the bill is complete.
- Enter the full address.
- Select appropriate Sales Account. Normally it will be the Legal Fee account.
- For the Amount Are, select Tax Exclusive. This will activate the tax rate applicable to time entry.
- Review the item lines which you are about to bill your client. There are 4 sections of the item lines; Flat Rate & Time Entry are for the legal fee, Reimbursement & Disbursement are for the expense entry.
- You can select the appropriate Tax Rate for each item line. It will be counted automatically if you select Tax Exclusive or Tax Inclusive at 'Amount are'.
- Enter appropriate Bill Note. You can automate this at Quote, Billing & Trust in the System setting.
- Enter appropriate Bill Terms & Conditions. You can automate this at Quote, Billing & Trust in the System setting.
- Set the Issued Date and the Due Date. This are the required input fields for the Bill.
- Lastly, click on Save as Draft or Approve, depending on your Role to create the Bill.
Submit Invoice to LHDN MyInvois for e-invoicing validation
- Make sure you submit no later than 72 hours after you create the billing for client. Beyond that time period, MyInvois will automatically decline the submission.
- Make sure you have enabled the E-invoicing tab at 'Manage Practice'. If you have not, make sure you follow the instruction give at the page.
- Make sure you have added the correct TIN for your client.
- To submit the invoice to LHDN MyInvois portal, just click on Manage Invoice at the Billing tab. It should present you with the link 'Submit e-invoice'
